This movie works on so many levels and is the reason why it's one of my favorites. And yeah, Starship Troopers on Blu-ray is quite the stunner. Those attacking masses of bugs should be seen in HD.

FILMAÇO! Como sempre Paul Verhoeven abusa da violência em mais uma metáfora cheia de críticas sociais, controle da mídia, regimes totalitários, utopias e distopias. Muito bom mesmo! Assim como Robocop e Total Recall, obras obrigatórias.

Amazing special effects and amazingly terrible acting combine to make one of the most entertaining movies I have ever seen. Plot holes abound and characters deliver both wonderfully over-the-top reactions and delightfully underwhelming ones. If you don't get a smile when Ironsides screams "Come on you apes, you want to live forever?!" or grin when you discover that "the only good bug is a dead bug" then clearly, you don't know quality entertainment when you see it.

I love this movie! The soundtrack is awesome!!! The effects are good! The story is true to the spirit of Heinlein's book and it is a lot of fun!
