mediocre at best, not nearly as good as the first one with only 1/4 of the first one's budget, I was really hoping it would be good despite all the negative feedback but... well they were right, more unanswered questions and room for a third had this one not kicked the bucket and left so many unanswered questions... :( but it is the only two movies I know of that have a plot to terra-form earth, that is in and of itself a unique plot... to bad it flopped :(

Manages to lack ALL the surprising creativity of the original. It's actually very, very terrible.

ummm, not much can be said of this piece of $#!+ movie. one of the worst movies ever made

Letdown after the high of part 1. Poor acting and FX hamper an otherwise decent storyline that mirrors the first.

A pointless and poorly conceived sequel that sets everything back to square one. So it might as well be a crappy remake.
