I saw The Rover in L.A. and was simply amazed by the performances o the two main actors. Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson completely transform themselves into these two characters and they both leave you heartbroken. The story by David Michod will haunt you for days to come and there are many shocking parts. Great film making.

[The] film is as bleak and unsparing as the world's end premise demands. It's also utterly transfixing from start to finish and elevated by the unexpectedly superb pairing of stars Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson.

This is a significant step down from Animal Kingdom...

A slow burn to be sure, but minimalism at its best. Guy Pearce is chilling as the title role, and Robert Pattinson gives a career redefining performance as Rey.

Great performances and cinematography. Dark and disturbing
