The Ring Virus (1999)

Sun-ju is a reporter who uncovers a series of inexplicable deaths that occurred simultaneously. Her investigation leads her to a resort, where she finds a videotape filled with mysterious images. After viewing it, a message appears on the screen that she has just been cursed, and that in order to save herself she must - end of tape. Somebody has erased the rest, leaving her horrified and uncertain of her next move.

A totally different take on the Ring story - different in that it follows to original novel more closely. Sadly that's it's downfall and it ends up being a pretty dull film.

If the last scene with the well doesntscare you then your not human. Far superior to the wishy washy american remake.

"Ring virus", es tan innecesaria como confusa, la reamke Coreana de "Ringu" solamente funciona si uno leyo el libro y vio la version Japonesa, sino es un misterio, y sinceramente no dan ganas de resolverlo.

Melko kehno. Upeiden maisemien lisÃ¤ksi ainoa hyvÃ¤ puoli olise, ettÃ¤ elokuva pohjautui selvÃ¤sti enemmÃ¤n Suzuki Kojin upeaan kirjaan, kuin Ringu elokuvaan.

Korean horror has a lot of hits under it's belt. Sadly, although it stuck to a good story, this wasn't as scary as the majority of them, or the Japanese Ringu.
