Jack Nicholson and the gorgeous Jessica Lange are the definition of on screen chemistry. It's a good remake of the original. A, gripping, unpredictable, tale of sleaze & obsession.

jack nicolson & jessica lenge. im thinking about the title of the movie. why the title is like this? or im a fucking looser? one and half year before i read a thriller novel which is mostly like this movie but that writer was another one,i forget the name (not james m.cains,the writer of this novel by which based this movie was made). still im thinking about the title of the movie. cora (jessica lenge)...really a sexy one. one problem is there...a little confusion,on the cover of the movie they write the name of the actor and actress as john garfield and lana turner,who r they?

Atmospheric, brooding, superbly shot and acted. Lange is excellent and gorgeous.
