Were the critics even watching the same film I saw? I was literally either on the edge of my seat or almost in my friend's lap the whole time! I'm not sure if you're actually supposed to enjoy a film about a soulless serial killer, but I saw it in a packed theatre and there were actually moments where the whole audience laughed out loud. Tennant was beyond terrifying for the the entire film, the rest of the cast delivered beautiful, believable performances and there is one absolutely perfect line of dialog that was worth the price of admission on its own. Want to have a good time at the movies with a film that will stay with you for days to come? Bad Samaritan fits the bill and then some.

Best movie no one is watching. Suspenseful and entertaining from beginning to end. 4/5.

Very enjoyable. In no way convoluted or implausible. The development of the serial killer is paced just right. Slight hints of Silence of the Lambs but that isn't a bad thing. What the film lacks, is musical theatricality.
