A moving experiance. I don't think anyone can say they loved the movie because it was hard to imagine our Lord beaten and humiliated but it was an eye opener.

By far the greatest film of all time, though this might not be in taste for some this is a film that inspires and easily succeeds. Its depiction of the suffering of Jesus Christ is powerful and inspiring. Sure it is brutal but that is the point, to show his passion for us that he suffered torture and a horrible death to save us all. Any of those people that don't like this movie, well they must not have good tastes and their opinion doesn't matter. Nor do I care what they think of this movie it IS good! An epic adaption of the greatest story of all time. Note:THIS FILM IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR FOR KIDS!

i don't know, i think i am subjective on this one but the historical accuracy of how a crucifixion were done at the time of The Roman Empire were quite correct down to the detail. The historical detail were also correct, the whip use on that time were designed to pierce the skin so deep it was technically ripping the skin apart, disfigured the flesh and inflict trauma...and yes, it was a bloodbath. so, separating the fact that this movie is a religious movie, it was true to the historical details, and at many times history were hard to swallow.... and that historical detail is the reason why i gave this movie a high score
