This movie is by far the only one that I rated 5 stars if my memory didn't fail me, this is a movie for who understands mathematics and not necessarily for who loves it, as it takes you to another dimension of thinking and life, and shows that people with high levels of intelligence are sometimes born in the most remote or least privileged places on earth and we need to be that road that they walk on so we can reveal their undiscovered knowledge. The beauty of this real story is the proof of how science and mathematics are a way of how God reveals his existence and "talks to us" on our level of intelligence. Finally when this Lost notes are found that reaches the level of explaining the black hole, it shows how we lost a man that Knew Infinite...

This was truly one of the best movies I have seen ever. The story is engrossing and challenges all of us to think about our prejudices and assumptions regarding people. The characters are brought to life as real people with all their strengths and weaknesses displayed for the audience to see but it is this holistic picture which connects the viewer to each of them and their true life stories. Though bringing one to tears and anger at times, it more importantly reminds us of the nobleness and dignity of each person and the ability to soar above the foibles and narrow mindedness too common in our lives.

The man who knew infinity is a moving film and some stunning acting from Dev Patel but Jeremy irons stole the movie for me as you felt everything he did I recommend for anyone

I am so glad I saw this movie! I found it stirring and enlightening regarding the role of math in our universe. Sad, but well-acted and engaging. First rate.
