While I believe that there were a few places where scenes could have been cut or shortened i.e. the vampire rabbits (not needed) & the scene at Red's (could have been shorter) this movie was still far better than the critics made it out to be. This movie had excellent action with top-notch visual effects, and good story. Also Hans Zimmer's score for the film was epic. Don't listen to the critics on this one. The Lone Ranger is an excellent movie.

A very good entertainment family movie I think it has many negative reviews in part because it depicts the cruelty and dark face anglos had towards native people in this new land at that time. True hurts.

I'm 63, remember and believe in white hat justice over evil in the original Lone Ranger. It was a big part of my Saturday lineup. Jay Silverheels lived near my home in Brooklyn, NY and I met him a couple of times. The new version of The Lone Ranger was just fun. First time in a long time that an audience stayed and applauded after any movie, besides watching Tonto walk off into the sunset.... I have already pre-ordered the DVD.

Why is everyone against this film ? seen it twice in IMAX it's fun and it gives us great Wild West photography....will he ever ride again ?
