Very emotional, well filmed, great actors. This movie affected me very much, perhaps it is not worth the 5 stars to everyone, but to me, it is.

This is a brilliant saga of the high price of westward expansion and the ignorance of the white man, is his zeal to acquire land and profit at all costs. A true depiction of how the Indians were tricked into submission and the savagery that followed for those who held out. Definitely not the proudest moment in American history.:fresh: :up:

An extremely powerful look into the history of native america through their own eyes, particularly through the eyes of the various Sioux branches. A powerful look into the treachory of the U.S. government, and how the Native tribes were treated. A must see for anyone who wants to see another perspective, much more reality based than others.
