The Lone Ranger (2003)

This version takes a look at the character in the years before he became a legend. It all begins with the introduction of Luke Hartman, a 20-year old Boston law student who witnesses the murder of his brother, a Texas Ranger. He himself is wounded in the midst of the chaos, but is rescued by the Apache Tonto... and subsequently becomes smitten by Tonto's sister Alope. He then devotes his life to avenging the death of his brother and fighting injustice, and in the process becoming a worldwide legend.

Action and adventure that came in more than expected. Think you've seen it, wait until you watch the movie and agree that is rates 5 stars.

Genius. Utter genius through and through. I watched this with my family and couldn't stop laughing all the way through! Ignore the critics on this one, they're all anti-fun for some unfathomable reason.

2013 was a year I will never forget, because I will never forget how much fun I had with nearly ever movie I saw that year, from Pacific Rim, to iron man 3, to Man of Steel, 2013 was a fun year, and this was by far the funnest of them all, I'm not kidding when I saw, I laughed my ass of with joy at the climax of this movie, does it drag? Sure. Was Jonny Depp miscast? Hell yes. But it makes up for it with some amazing action scenes, great acting, and what could be the most entertaining climax of the last few years, something I think people need to understand is that this movie is insane, the action is insane, the writing is insane, the characters are insane, the directing is insane, this movie is just pure insanity, AND I FUCKING LOVE IT! Its in my opinion, tied with Frozen and Walter Mitty for the best movie of the year.

Great, entertaining, trip thru the beautiful West. I saw all the bad reviews and avoided this movie for a while. However, my art professor sister-in-law said she actually liked it and we rarely see things eye-to-eye but she was right. Lots of scenery and fun story suitable for all ages without getting too corny for adults. Pure entertainment that seemed well paced. Much better than the overkill Transformer movies and the like.
