At last a movie that encapsulates the turmoil between atheism and faith in a mainstream Hollywood movie! While the arguments are both standard on both sides, kudos to the film maker to go beyond the traditional thriller formula to delve deep into a vital issue of our times. Most of the critics most likly the subject matter to uncomfortable, and thus tried to trivialise this. Trust me, this is a movie worth your time if you want something thought provoking and goes against conventional thinking.

The movie worked on purely emotional level, regardless of the religious and philosophical discussion. The religious debate was done brilliantly with the serious parts interspaced with just the right amount humor to make a point, but not to preach.

I love this movie. As a fellow Atheist it really makes me think about how much more I value life since I gave up christianity. This movie has a profound message to me. I really enjoy the moral ambiguity created by the characters, Yet one quickly see the Atheist as the hero of the damesl in distress, and the so called caring fundamentalist as the real villain. This movie is nice secular Atheistic story that tackles the themes so many have done before, but throughj the lense of an Atheist. This is the first movie of this type of romance that I could relate. So many others use hells or worlds unrelated to reality. Mathew Chapman had serious vision for this movie among the secular community and his fellow Atheists! Bravo!
