It’s mind-boggling that this entire thing was shot on soundstages using greenscreens. Favreau’s jungle feels like a real place, but it’s heightened and stylized and it feels like a perfect fit for the talking animals who make up the majority of the cast.

When considering 99% of this film is computer generated imagery, The Jungle Book is a pretty amazing achievement. It's visuals are incredible, the voice talent is fantastic and the nods to its source material are there. Although some aspects of the story feel as if they could have been worked on, chopped and changed, and for the most part Neel Sethi as Mowgli does a fine job, ultimately The Jungle Book is a very enjoyable and great reboot of a film.

I wasn't hoping for much, but this film is very very good. The CGI are amazing, you will forget that everything is CGI after like 5 mins. It fit for all ages, and will be perfect for every one that grew up with the cartoon version.

A visual masterpiece with a completely engaging, energetic, and emotional story that hooked me. I am blown away with this movie. The voice acting, the characters, Neel Sethi, the action, the music, the cinematography, and most importantly, the breathtaking visual effects. Everything in this movie works perfectly. I was worried that the songs would feel out of place and awkward, but I was wrong, they really work well. Jon Favreau has made something very special with "The Jungle Book", and I can't wait to see it again.

Yet another absolutely perfect Disney movie. The story was perfect, the voice acting (especially from Christopher Walken, Scarlett Johannson and Idris Elba) was perfect, the CGI effects were perfect, the music was good (not great but good), it was an all around fantastic movie. I had huge expectations, and I was still impressed at just how good it was. Definitely the best of all Disney's live action remakes so far. Andy Serkhis is really going to have to step up his game if he wants Jungle Book: Origins to top this.
