Interesting movie, sucks ya in.. But unless you think smoking, violance, and cussing are ok then I wouldnt lable this Kids & Family.

One of my favorite movies since age 8, this movie inspired my love of trains... Favorite parts: depictions of Chicago during the Depression, the logging industry in the Northwest, a young John Cusack, hobos (!)...I often pretended to be Natty and maybe I sometimes wished my dog Archie was a wolf.
