Oh, man... this was a really entertaining movie... a bit fucked up, but gets the job done... the pirates are very cool and disturbing. Makes you think about the Caribean Islands in the 70's-80's... so, does that mean that we should thank Club Med type resorts?

what makes this movie better than any johnny depp pirate movie is that this movie could hypotheticaly been true based on history and the numerous unexplored islands off Florida. Made really well by Benchley and holds your attention beginning to end, especially since it was done in 1980
