I remember watching this as a kid and it scared the titties off me. I hope to find a copy someday.

Well the melting man himself was certainly very metly with some pretty good effects but aside from the hella amusing big girl going through the glass door in gratuitous slow-motion this was pretty much rubbish. The blurb which his hysterically bad unfortunately is not an indicator of the hilariousness of the rubbishness of the film, which is merely just the boring brand of rubbish.

"Oh, my God, it's his ear!" And so it goes with The Incredible Melting Man, a piece of sci-fi cheese so pungent that it was honored with its very own Mystery Science Theater 3000 episode.

The alert flick of alert flicks. Alert flicks are the ones you and your buds watch while on alert duty, then watch again and again. I wish this were available on DVD . . . I'd subject all my friends to it.

Few movies end with the villain being cleaned up by a janitor at the end. This one does.
