Maybe the best movie I've ever seen. I have never read the books and I'm glad that I didn't. Everyone who must read what happens next before they actually watch the movie has the element of surprise & suspense completely taken away from them. This brought back that old feeling I had when watching all six seasons of "Lost" from start to finish. I didn't want it to end.

Good Acting, True To The Book and Very Suspenful.

Gary Ross does a great job bringing the book to life, capturing the dark scary tone of having kids fight to the death. Fans of the book will love the movie of how well done the book to movie adaptation is. Although a good majority of the movie is not filmed well, it does give the dystopian society more darkness. At some points the movie feels rushed but makes up for it by giving great acting, and action.
