The Help (2011)

Aibileen Clark is a middle-aged African-American maid who has spent her life raising white children and has recently lost her only son; Minny Jackson is an African-American maid who has often offended her employers despite her family's struggles with money and her desperate need for jobs; and Eugenia "Skeeter" Phelan is a young white woman who has recently moved back home after graduating college to find out her childhood maid has mysteriously disappeared. These three stories intertwine to explain how life in Jackson, Mississippi revolves around "the help"; yet they are always kept at a certain distance because of racial lines.

An emotional tear-jerker about the struggle of african-american people during the 60's in the US. This movie has the humor, the drama and of course the harsh reality all encapsulated in one movie. Some might categorize it under the "racial abuse sympathizer" category kind of movie, but I think it can stand on its own feet in an original sense of way. A MUST WATCH.

Based on a very sucessful novel which I read a few weeks ago, I found this film equally good as the novel ( despite Constatine´s story being less cruel in the movie adaptation).

I always loved this type of movies.Offcourse I had to see this one.Based on a book by Kathryn Stockett and directed by Tate Taylor, this drama 1960's movie goes about the extraordinary friendship between a white well-educated young woman and two black maids.Skeeter Phelan wants to show by writing a book what it's like to work for white families.I laughed many times(especially because of Minny)And also had to cry.

an inspiring job. a work that worth it. with help of legends. and the history it really represent the courage of the afroamerican people in 60's is enough dramatic(it makes me cry)is impossible that fails also the performances it look like an acting war particullary spencer
