The Help (2011)

Aibileen Clark is a middle-aged African-American maid who has spent her life raising white children and has recently lost her only son; Minny Jackson is an African-American maid who has often offended her employers despite her family's struggles with money and her desperate need for jobs; and Eugenia "Skeeter" Phelan is a young white woman who has recently moved back home after graduating college to find out her childhood maid has mysteriously disappeared. These three stories intertwine to explain how life in Jackson, Mississippi revolves around "the help"; yet they are always kept at a certain distance because of racial lines.

This is one amazing film all cast were top class , makes me ashamed to be white seeing how and what went on in that day . One thing I have never done and won't do is follow other people's attitudes towards others . This world is cruel enough lets not add to it . Best film 2011/2012

This is an inspiring movie.this is how it was a long time ago in the 1960s. Love how scetter makes the book. Great movie! Martin Luther king is great and rosa parks.

An emotional tear-jerker about the struggle of african-american people during the 60's in the US. This movie has the humor, the drama and of course the harsh reality all encapsulated in one movie. Some might categorize it under the "racial abuse sympathizer" category kind of movie, but I think it can stand on its own feet in an original sense of way. A MUST WATCH.
