A gory, campy good time with several ridiculous moments. It's about as close to a giallo as HG Lewis ever got, and it's a shame he stopped his output after this, as it's one of his best and it showed he was growing as a filmmaker. The over-the-top, goofy humor helps offset the extreme gore, that is not often matched, even now in its gruesome nature.

I can see how these types of movies might have gained some sort of cult following. It's nice that filmmakers did what they could with what they had but this is just pure tripe. Sorry, all Herschell lovers but he wasn't that of a genius when it came to filmmaking.

A sexploitation classic, without a doubt. With odd scenes like a woman being beaten to death by a meat tenderizer on the buttocks (with salt sprinkled for added pain), Gore Gore Girls is at once hilarious, obscene, and disgusting (on several levels). The storyline and acting makes this film feel more like an early 70s porno flick than thriller. Pure cheese, but oh so entertaining!

The five stars go out to how AWFUL this film truly was. It had such a John Waters feel to it, and I was assuming that at any given moment Divine would pop right out from the cheap curtains and dance. I give it the high rating merely for the fact that the deaths were very much over the top but if it weren't for the fast forward button (to skip out on all the boring dialogue) than I doubt I would have liked this film as much*

Gore-sploitation, nothing more, nothing less. If you don't pay attention to anything besides the effects, you might even find this tolerable, assuming you have the stomach for it.
