The Glimmer Man (1996)

A former government operative renowned for his stealth, Jack Cole is now a Los Angeles police detective. When a series of horrible murders occurs in the metro area, Cole is assigned to the case, along with tough-talking fellow cop Jim Campbell. Although the two men clash, they gradually become effective partners as they uncover a conspiracy linked to the killings, which also involves terrorism and organized crime.

The plot was a bit ott for a Seagal film and consequently valuable butt-kicking time was wasted with hammed-up-to-the-hilt dialogue. The occasional funny moment too, not least the shirts Seagal sports during his little adventure. As always, if you like action movies this is entertaining, if not i'd stay away!

I thought this was actually a pretty good movie. Solid action, a pretty decent story line, and Seagal? I like his work anyhow. So it made it worth watching.

let me take you back to a time before we found out Steven Seagal was a total jackass. this movie was sweet then and it's sweet now. I've only seen two films where a man OWNS a room full of bad guys with a credit card. the other is Sharky's Machine...also badass, btw.

Seagal gives us a fairly good Bruce Lee impression in a film that is more moronic than it should be.
