Since the 1960s, a disproportionate number of the population in and around Nome, Alaska, have gone missing. Despite FBI investigations, the disappearances remain a mystery. Rather intriguing, totally makes you think...actual video footage was quite disturbing...quite scary too. really enjoyed it.

I personally found this to be an entertaining movie. I would recomend that the person that said it was clumsy and mundane stick to gay porn.

Me encantÃ³ esta pelÃcula sobre todo por la base real con vÃdeos originales de lo sucedido, es impresionante, cualquiera se asusta y le preocupa lo que acÃ¡ muestra, leÃ que la teorÃa del dios (que no era uno solo, sino varios dioses) crearon a la raza humana para no tener que hacer los trabajos pesados, la verdad esta pelÃcula corrobora en gran parte esa teorÃa basada en los jeroglÃficos existentes de la Ã (C)poca pre-cristianismo...recomendable

As far as I am aware, 'The Fourth Kind' takes a unique approach to telling it's story. Presented as a reenactment of actual events, 'archival' footage and audio of the actual events play at points throughout the film, often along side the reenacted footage in split screen. This is a wonderful idea and gives the film a documentary-esque feel, which adds to the supposed realism. Whether real footage or not, this technique greatly enhances the dramatic impact of the film and the realistic look of the archival footage makes for some seriously chilling moments. Occasionally, when the split screening went into overdrive, and four different images were on screen at once, it became a little messy and distracting. I also felt that at times the film tried a little too hard to convince the audience that it was real.
