Brilliant sequel. Its obvious that everybody had a blast making this. The fighting is rough and theres a surprisingly downbeat ending after all the hi jinx leading up to it.

(The first sequel to ever be shot back-to-back with the first film.) Infact it was never meant to be two films, just one 4 hour epic, but the studios demanded it be halved and released as two films to maximis profit. The Actors however only got paid for 1 film!!!

Excellent sequel to the slapstick original with an all star cast and much darker tone than the original. If you like Oliver Reed in Gladiator, you'll love him in this.

The Four Musketeers is a very dark, yet very fun rendering of the second half of Alexandre Dumas' classic novel. Stellar performances, with good direction make this a great film, but it is not quite as enjoyable as the first half. The change in composer is also a dissapointment. But, all in all, a cracking swashbuckler.
