Early gore film with the great Martin Kosleck as a German scientist (oddly, not a Nazi) living on an island surrounded by aquatic microscopic, uh, flesh eaters. If you can get past the ridiculous dialogue, you'll probably enjoy this quite a bit.

This film was campy and funny, disregard the movie poster though, it's in black and white. The beatnik guy was probably my favourite part of the film. Overall it was a good watch for its comedic value but not on my top list.

Wow. This movie is so good for so many reasons!! Any film that scratches the acetate as a special effect gets an extra star! My dh and I were a little disappointed that the infamous "Nazi Experiment" flashback (that looked like it was filmed in NJ) wasn't in the film. It was one of the extras, though.
