The Cake Eaters (2007)

The death of the Kimbrough family matriarch affects the three male survivors of the clan. Widower Easy tries to reconnect with his old flame, Marg. Eldest son and struggling musician Guy moves back to town, feeling guilty that he missed the funeral. His brother, Beagle, who was his mother's caretaker, falls for Marg's granddaughter, Georgia, a chronically ill girl who fears her time is growing short.

Fantastic performances from it's main cast especially in Kristen Stewart, make this shaky film a success

This movie is Coming-of age, and i really enjoyed it...i cried a little, and i laughed some. Kristen Stewart played her role fantastic. It was a very indie movie, which I absolutely love, my mom didn't know i rented this of demand so she''ll most likely yell at me, but oh well so worth it. lol It was a good movie.

A good performance by Kristen Stewart as a young woman with Friederich's Ataxia. Overall, a good ensemble performance of family dynamics.

I really liked this movie! I'd call it a "quirky coming-of-age story" .... I laughed, I cried. Maybe I am just emotional but all the characters really drew me into the story between the two families. I enjoyed Kristen in a more serious role too.
