The First Purge (2018)

To push the crime rate below one percent for the rest of the year, the New Founding Fathers of America test a sociological theory that vents aggression for one night in one isolated community. But when the violence of oppressors meets the rage of the others, the contagion will explode from the trial-city borders and spread across the nation.

Was the perfect mix of politics and horror that made it feel so good, so real as if the possibility could be within our lifetime if our society keeps going downhll. Something most dystopias don't do in my opinion. I loved the current climate of the movie and how it reflects on real life feelings and issues .

This was an uplifting movie with positive role models.

Great movie. Probably the best one. With the same concept as the first three. They were still able to have a few surprises and it wasn't too predictable.

The acting could have been a little better from the brother and sister, but the movie itself was actually pretty good. it has a few moments that would definitely make you jump out of your seat!
