Six troubled high school students and their chaperon, an optimistic youth ministries Pastor, return from an outdoor character building retreat in the mountains. This is a competent, and confident, schlock horror movie with a wonderful vamp performance from the blonde bimbo from hell.

wasnt the all time best,but i gave it 4 stars anyway,just for the fun factor...its probably the redneck in me,but this movie was hilarious...gore factor was high although sporatic...cracker humor, omg over the top...the ending i liked as well,no spoiler here but it was well met...kinda long towards the end but just as i realized it was getting long it ended...so have fun with trailer trash redneck zombies from hell...yeeeeehaaaaaaw!!

Starts off really well with some good touches and character development. It all falls in on itself as the usual plot mechanics take over revealing nothing really beyond the usual gore and sex. The film drags for the last 30 minutes and I found myself looking at my watch way too often. There are lingering, dragged out torture scenes and its hard to figure out why this film could not have been at least ten minutes shorter. Slick and rapid editing do not make a good film and this is no exception. When can we expect a really tense and exciting horror movie again? Poor!

NOT a traditional zombie flick. I got it expecting so-so and what I got was DAMN GOOD. For a B-movie, it was well written and well acted. I LOVE Norma, the Queen of the Trailer Park and found Trace Adkins to be a good devil.
