When the Welsh poet Dylan Thomas and his flirtatious wife Caitlin sweep into war-torn London, the last thing they expect is to bump into Dylan's childhood sweetheart Vera. Despite her joy at seeing Dylan after so many years, Vera is swept off her feet by a dashing officer, William Killick, and finds herself torn between the open adoration of her new found beau and the wily charms of the exotic Welshman.

The cinematography of this movie is absolutely beautiful. A wonderful period piece with a nice portrayal of the underground nightlife of a bomb-plagued England. The movie was cast perfectly and both women gave stellar performances. Cillian Murphy's character couldve used a little more development however we do get to understand the love triangle very well. I really loved this movie and even though the action was minimal, the plot really moved the movie along and it was a great portrayal of the life of a relationship/marriage. It was very well done and again just a stunningly beautiful movie. I'm very surprised that I had never heard of this movie, even being a big Keira Knightly fan and I'm thankful that Netflix recommended this for me!

I really like LOVE AND WAR movies , like Cold Mountain , Atonement. This movie is good too. 2 thumbs up for Kiera Knightly.

Strange movie, adds a different insight into adult relationships. I was not disappointed in the end.

Edge doesn't aspire to be anything more than a juicy British wartime soap opera, but when it finds delicious pockets of whispered betrayal, artistic impotency, and cherry-lipped invitation, it adds up to a convincing sit.
