For some reason, American filmmakers have yet to figure out how to properly use Chow Yun-Fat.

I don't know if this movie could have been made with anyone but Chow Yun-Fat. As Chen, he finally is allowed to display the nervous energy and Eastern rhythms we associate with his Hong Kong work.

a pretty sweet gangster movie. its got it all. corruption, deception, murder. chow yun-fat was a little intense in this one. a little more so then when he played john lee in 'the replacement killers'.

An interesting plot element or two and a stylish visual approach can't save James Foley's The Corruptor from coming across as a run-of-the-mill cop movie.

This movie was fantastic had sooo many twists and turns. It kept a good pace and kept you interested in the movie. Wonderful story plot. The acting was pretty good. Dark and gritty didnt do any censorship when it came to showing the underworld crime lords of china. so many fuckinese. loved it:)
