A classic and a well made movie. Not really a "feel good" film though.

Brilliant plot spawning from historical & science fact, brilliant cast & to see two old age pensioner's beating the shit out of each other is priceless, an absolute classic

A must see! It should be judged by the time it was shot. New generations might find it slow paced and filled w/ cliches but come on, it is 1978! Plots were much simpler than today. Moreover, think about the knowledge of mankind on genetic engineering and microbiology at that time. This movie is a pioneer in this sense. And the performance of the actors are great -especially Gregory Peck as Josef Mengele. A very good movie.

Enjoable thriller with one of the most startling dog-attack scenes on film. Gregory Peck is superb against-type as a crazed nazi war criminal.

Your so used to seeing Peck as the hero.., it's phenomal to see him sporting the Hitler moustache & try to re-birth the Nazi dream. Sir Lawrence Olivier gives an unbelievable performance as an elderly Nazi-hunter!! The dogs are just vicious!!
