One of my favorite movies ever. You need to approach this movie for what it is: a well written, well acted character study that asks us to contemplate our belief systems. I watch this movie every so often, like I do Hamlet, for the insights it gives me into why I do what I do.

Despite a less then stelar performance by whats-his-face (the non-spacey, non-devito kid), this movie quite simply struck a chord with me. Laugh out loud between moments of contemplation... A two-edged sword.

This movie is incredibly funny, but asks some very tough, insightful questions about the nature of religion and what it means to relate to other human beings. And all three of the films lead actors turn in amazingly honest performances.
