The BFG (1990)

Sophie is snatched from her orphanage early one morning by the BFG (Big Friendly Giant), whom she witnesses engaged in mysterious activities. She is soon put at ease, as she learns that BFG's job is to collect, catalog and deliver pleasant dreams to children. She joins him that night, but a mean giants follow them, planning to eat the children of the world.

A wonderful film for all the family. It entranced me as a child and now the same is true for my little girl. Excellent animation, music and acting. Perhaps a little scary in parts so a preview may be necessary but I watched it when I was 4 years old and loved it.

Excellent Children's Classic. Bought The Newly Digitally Restored Special Edition & Relived One Of My Favorite Films As A Kid & I Still Love All These Years Later. This Is A Brilliant Adaption Of Roald Dahl's Classic Children's Novel, Which Features The Voices Of David Jason (Only Fools & Horses), Amanda Root (Jane Eyre, The Iron Lady) & Angela Thorne (The Royal). The BFG Is A Great Achievement In British Animation, From The Cosgrove Hall Animation Studio (Danger Mouse, Count Duckula, Classic Doctor Who Animated Reconstructions.) A Great Script, A Great Song & A Great Movie.
