Evan, a musically gifted orphan, runs away from his orphanage and searches New York City for his birth parents. On his journey, he's taken under the wing of the Wizard, a homeless man who lives in an abandoned theater. After discovering his talent, the Wizard gives Evan the name "August Rush" and devises a plan to profit from his talent. Little does Evan know that his parents, Lyla and Louis, are searching for him too.

Purely Amazing. I can't stop watching this film. Truly one of my favorite films. Outstanding acting done by the entire cast, I would recommend this movie to everyone.

Please please please watch this film! I really recomend it! Its really a movie for the whole family to enjoy, no matter how old they are! I guess you could say it was like a modern oliver twist but better. The music in it is amazing and Freddie Highmore is great at acting. After watching this i can promise you will feel like a better person, the film seems to inspire, how, i dont know? But i loved it... to be honest its my fave film right now!

This film was awesome!!! I couldnt stop crying! From the middle all the way to the end. Definately got it right when they awarded this gem an award for being heartwrenching. Its like another Oliver Twist film!
