Anyone having a loved one that has, or is serving in the military will find this movie emotionally moving. As a Marine, I found Taking Chance the most powerful of any military based documentary film. A MUST see.

Not a "normal" movie. Just so very warming to see. I have absolutely no military experience, nor does my family, and yet I find myself begging people to see it more than any other film. You see the slow salute, the meaning of respect, and the impact of that respect emotionally on the passers-by. It's truly truly remarkable and completely took me by surprise given that I have no military experience to judge this by.

Incredible movie. Although it over-exaggerates the common persons' respect for our troops. People have begun to think of the military as just a job and show no respect or honor for the fallen.

A very emotional film that is based on a true story. More of a documentary style. The movie is about the moving of the remains of a solider that was lost in the line of duty. There is a lot of procedure that must be done at every check point. It's very sad because the main character insists on staying with the body, not only out of respect but also out of duty. Most people give the main character the respect without even a second glance. It is hard for the main character to remember the reason why so many are being lost in battle because he doesn't necessarily agree with why the country is still at war. A very touching film that gets to the core of loss and remembrance.
