started very well but a bit to much "drama" towards the end. Nevertheless a beautiful film. Mesmeric maybe

These moments, enjoyable and arcane, may not add up to a masterpiece. But they're uniquely Weerasethakul's.

I know it's suppose to be an very good movie, I'm just disapointed that I didn't felt that way. And, oh well, not sure I have understood more than 20%. The first 30 minutes were ok, a bit interesting. But watching this movie is like... waiting for something that never seems to come. The story just never got to a point where it becomes interesting to follow. I can even say it was painful in the end to stay focus. You've got to be patient with this movie... More than me ;)

Weerasethakul has become less and less dependent on narrative, relying instead on emotional impressions and rhythms (and even a few deadpan laughs).
