Volcanologist Harry Dalton comes to the sleepy town of Dante's Peak to investigate the recent rumblings of the dormant volcano the burg is named for. Before long, his worst fears are realized when a massive eruption hits, and immediately, Harry, the mayor and the townspeople find themselves fighting for their lives amid a catastrophic nightmare.

I advise anyone who doesn't like this movie (the best volcano movie ever made) to rewatch it as a 13-year-old kid.

A solid action film and a childhood favourite of mine in which a small town goes into panic after a volcano erupts there. Both Pierce and Linda are strong leads and are both great for the film. Its got a good flowing storyline to it, and while there are some slightly dull moments they are overshadowed by the action-packed eruption scenes in which the town is taken over by the volcano. It seemed to end quite abruptly though. Overall definitley a classic 90's action film that's not to be missed!
