Hey..writing this simply because of all the bad reviews.. I found it slightly charming and it had a few lol moments.. Not the greatest rom-com, but i have taste, dammit, and it if you like such a movie category, it will pass the time just fine (at 3am when you cant sleep).. Has a few pieces of nice insight as well.. Would have liked to see the supporting actress as lead, however.. Sorry, miss mandy moore :-)

A young couple undergoing their first sexual relations crisis decide to find out whether 'grass is greener on the other side'. Screenwriter did his best to avoid predictability, though failing on details, but the choice of actors was disastrous: former pop-starlet Mandy Moore with only two face expressions available: 'I'm cute' and 'I don't care', and the ever-happy simpleton Martin Freeman bound to play a sad and thoughtful husband.

Can't believe I sat through this, nearly gave up on it very early on. Melissa George is especially horrid in this one. Lost half a star for the scene of her with her breast pump. Character is also crude, vulgar and repellant. Mandy Moore fares a little better, but she and the husband have zero chemistry. He looks like her father in the flashbacks of them dating. And wouldn't you know it, my all time "favourite" happy ending in the movie. That one never gets old.

Oh dear. Yet another failed attempt to do a 'Four Weddings'. Take a selection of 'hilarious' middle-class characters, throw in a bit of sexual experimentation, some London landmarks and a barrage of romantic clichÃ (C)s, and you have the formula for this soggy mass of mediocrity. The script is bland, the characters unappealing, and the hodge-podge of nationalities baffling (would you believe English, American, Canadian, Australian, Indian and Eurasian characters all together in anything except the Olympics?). Martin Freeman plays a remarkably unsympathetic character, and has little to do except pull his usual variety of faces. The problem with the British film industry is that it's only possible to get funding for this sort of gloop, or for gangster films.

Maybe I'm just weird, but I thought it was hilariously awkward. And if anyone can play awkward perfectly and make it endearing, it's Martin Freeman.
