La pareja francesa por excelencia Belmondo y Denueve en esta pelicula de Truffaut, un hombre bajo el encanto de una mujer hasta en las extremas circunstancias y un gran final.

Hey, it ain't exactly The 400 Blows but this is a pretty decent movie that flipflops between tragic romance and film noir. Not a bad way to spend two hours.

Truffaut puts in a (fake)noir subject all his movie signs, referring to his past films and to movie history (keeping en eye on Hitchcock as usual). He creates a story of romance and death, alternating drama and comedy. Dedicated to Jean Renoir.
