The story of a close-knit group of young kids in Nazi Germany who listen to banned swing music from the US. A movie this critics love to hate but it is one of my favorites. It has good music and hot guys. I love it!

A beautiful film that shows off Christian Bale's ability to act before the huge roles. Robert Sean Leonard is excellent also. Perhaps better than his Dead Poet's Society days.

This film spits in the face of every convention and formula that a film snob (like myself) has come to expect. What begins as a trite pubescent story of eager youth turns into a frantic quest for identity and meaning in a world that appears to have lost it. Every time this film offers up something a film lover expects, it changes the rules and whips understanding of convention. I sat down to the film expecting a sociological analog of "footloose" but was pleasantly surprised to discover a unique, horrifying, and illuminating film experience. A rare gem.

I haven't see it in a while, but I remember how much I loved it. The music is great (so long as you like swing music). I don't normally like to watch movies about the holocaust/WWII (too depressing), but I really like this one.

clearly the reviewers have no taste for class films like Swing Kids. I first watched swing kids in my early teens and instantly fell in love with it. The actors are great, plot is lovely, amazing from start to finish.
