Suburban Girl (2007)

Publishing assistant Brett Eisenberg wants to be a big-time editor. However, she lacks self-confidence, a problem that isn't helped by her new, overbearing boss. Brett soon enters into a relationship with Archie, an older man who has plenty of his own issues, including alcoholism, diabetes and a difficult relationship with his daughter. Intent on helping Archie get past his problems, she turns to her dying father for advice.

pretty cute movie. Always wondered what it would be like to date an older man... not quite that much older though...

Cute movie... gets a bit lost along the way, and some of the characters are severly under-used (Maggie Grace, Vanessa Brance & Chris Carmac) Sarah Michelle Gellar puts in a fantastic charming performance as always.. Tho her relationship with Alec seems a little forced at times... If there is nothing else to watch, this is OK... tho if Sarah wasn't in it, I would only rate it 2*... Sarah earns this movie the extra star!

WTF ???? The movie promotion is such a shame !!!! This movie is quite a good drama, Sarah Michelle Gellar & Alec Baldwin have a really great alchemy together and the direction never fall on easy cliché ! It's a really good surprise, to discover that kind of movie which give impression to be pointless but with realistic drama situations. Movie making of this film have many amazing independant movie qualities but mixing with a fresh Sex and the City style. Very Good surprise watching this film which it's better than it seems to be !

I didn't really understand where the title of the movie came from, but that doesn't really matter, it's funny and well made, great acting and I really enjoyed it. Wonderful music and a great plot, I quite enjoyed this movie to be honest!
