Suburban Girl (2007)

Publishing assistant Brett Eisenberg wants to be a big-time editor. However, she lacks self-confidence, a problem that isn't helped by her new, overbearing boss. Brett soon enters into a relationship with Archie, an older man who has plenty of his own issues, including alcoholism, diabetes and a difficult relationship with his daughter. Intent on helping Archie get past his problems, she turns to her dying father for advice.

I try to boycott any movies with Alec Baldwin but can't help but like this movie.

I thoroughly enjoyed this cute tale of a strong young woman. I love the fact it was more small time. Yet it was very eloquent, in it's own way.

I like Brett's growth and the whole romance being parallel with the father-daughter relationship. The whole movie is realistic, especially the ending, though I wouldn't want to end this way. Archie is love. warm and nice overall
