Suburban Girl (2007)

Publishing assistant Brett Eisenberg wants to be a big-time editor. However, she lacks self-confidence, a problem that isn't helped by her new, overbearing boss. Brett soon enters into a relationship with Archie, an older man who has plenty of his own issues, including alcoholism, diabetes and a difficult relationship with his daughter. Intent on helping Archie get past his problems, she turns to her dying father for advice.

I cannot get enough of this movie. I loved the story, there was something that felt true and honest. This is something to see if you understand literary reference, if you don't then a lot of the movie will be lost on you.

Pretty decent. I love Gellar so it's enjoyable to watch her in any movie even how bad it is. This wasn't so great though. Simply Irresistible was her best "chick flick" and Cruel Intentions is by far her greatest performance. Hopefully the upcoming " The Air I Breathe" will show us more of her better side.

There is something real in this movie. I missed Sarah, but dunno if she is better than 10 years ago in Buffy. Nice romance (kinda) for boring Sunday.
