I didn't have my hopes up for this movie at all, but was definitely surprised when it turned out to be a really good sequel! The commercials for the movie looked pretty stupid, but after watching it, I see that it stayed true to the first Waiting film and kept the humor where it should be. The appearances of the old characters from the first one was definitely a plus. I am going to buy this when I see it at the store.

Unnecessary sequel, only amusing occasionally. The cast tries, but most of the humor is pretty lame. Forgettable.

John Higgens is a great deadpan comedic actor (akin to Steve Carell before he went downhill) in this sequel to "Waiting". Adam Carolla's infomercial bit was hilarious, recalling the brand of crude humour that made "The Man Show" great. But I digress...

I didn't even know about this release until about a week ago, and wasn't sure I was going to watch it, but had a free rental so figured "why not?" All in all, it's worth watching. I could have done without the recycled jokes/gags from the first one, and the guy that played "Agnew" tried too hard to play the role like Ryan Reynolds played "Monty." Most of the original cast does make an appearance, including Justin Long, so it really did feel like an extension of of the first film. As far as sequels go, this one's not that bad. Oh, and as someone that has served before, I can totally relate to "the weeds dream." "How could you quadruple seat me?" *shudder*

There is no doubt that it was going to be really hard to follow on from such a now cult film. Its not as good but its also different in a good way. The step up of the new and old characters blends well. Deffo worth watching if you loved the original, jsut try not to compare them too much :)
