the effects were good for that time, but lon channey could've done better.

Left me more amused than anything. LCJr aint Dracula. Simple as that. But, twas still fun seeing him with a nice little Gable tash and long flowing cloak. More appealing to me than 'Daughter...' and much more generic but in a good way.

i seen it many years ago and very liked but i couldn`t see the end of film, unfortunatly... i would like to see it again...

The weakest of the Dracula sequels. It is not that suspenseful and cannot live up to Dracula. It has a plot which is decent but not anything special. The movie recieves three stars simply because it has some clever moments and a couple good performances.

This second follow up to Dracula is not horrible but not great either. Lon Chaney Jr. does his best to be frightening, but the only frightening thing about the film is trying to figure out who came up with the idea to call the vampire "Alucard", which is Dracula spelled backwards and possibly one of the silliest names for a monster ever!
