Brilliant film - Cross between True Grit, Dances With Wolves and Jarmucsh's Dead Man - The Ending blew me away. Great to see something like this by new writer/director.

Excellent - if you enjoy Eastwood's Unforgiven, you will most likely enjoy this. Slow West has some magical, surreal moments, not to mention the incredibly beautiful lighting throughout, like a Natural History Museum display or old National Geographic issue come to life. Fassbender is almost too Hollywood for this little gem of a movie, but seeing as he's an executive producer on it, I guess we have to thank him for it getting made at all.
