great script, great music, great cinematography....and it doesnt hurt that its robert redford and brad pitt playing leads

A masterpiece. Redford's performance was outstanding. Redford showed that how strong the nerves can be of a person who is in espionage. Awesome realistic performance from Redford and Pitt supported him well.

LOVED THIS MOVIE! (Director Tony Scott, released Nov. 2001)I loved the music! Robert Redford & Brad Pitt are terrific in this movie! Keeps you guessing right up to the end--and a smattering of East German history (pre-Berlin Wall coming down) & GENERAL GREAT SPY STUFF. Brad Pitt was quite believable!

Still one of the best spy thrillers ive seen just the minor issue with top CIA people spending their whole time in a small room and making and making many decisions.
