The second film in the dollars trilogy puts more meat on the bones and brings in Lee Van Cleef as a rival bounty hunter. The story is top drawer and again Leone fills his film with close ups of sweating faces which bring more interest than any wide shots. Thats not to say the scope has widened in the second film,everything here feels much grander than the 1st film thanks in no small part to another memorable score. My fave bit? has to be Van Cleef striking a match on Klaus Kinskis Back it just makes me laugh everytime.

A brutal, un-restrained and unsympathetic portrayal of Bounty hunters and the hunted, Sergio Leone's "For a Few Dollars More" is a MASTERPIECE! This critic truly hated westerns untill viewing this film, and stands as one of the ten greatest westerns--as well as greatest movies--ever made.

Fantastic soundtrack. Lee Van Cleef and Eastwood have great moments here. A true piece of artwork that has a great story with many twists. Very funny at times as well. Cinematography is unrivaled.

He wore the same poncho, without ever having washed it, in all three of his "Man with No Name" Westerns. This is the start of his movie career with these 3 movies they were his first major films and they were great.

Actually, it's pretty creepy in some scenes, but I think this film is just on par with the more famous "Good, Bad, and the Ugly". And it's refreshing to see Lee Van Cleef in a 'good guy' role.
