it's alright. 60+ years have aged it to a point where it is not required viewing any longer.

The best time to see the movie is when you are down. It is perfecto.

Perhaps the best Golden Age of Hollywood movie ever made. The musical numbers are great, the acting is spot on, Donald O'Connor steals the show (tough to do when Gene Kelly is in the picture). I love the humor and the loving satire of the early talking pictures 1927-28.

An exceptional charming comedy with Gene Kelly's unforgettable performance in it. Wonderfully acted and directed, Singing in the Rain will always remain the most important musical classic in the movie history.

Simply, the most amazing musical I have ever witnessed! It had literally everything a musical masterpiece should have: catchy and timeless classic songs, incredible dancing on the part of Gene Kelly and Donald O'Connor, and an absolutely amazing spectacle, especially during The Broadway Melody sequence. Donald O'Connor as the humorous friend and sidekick of Gene Kelly's character added to the greatness of this film and the storyline itself flows without fault. I HIGHLY recommend this movie to EVERYONE!
