Really interesting movie, really strange too. The story is a mix between a polar and a life of christ story (yeah, I know how it sounds, but hey, it's the subject of this movie!), including some very disturbing art ideas (in the line of the "Silence of the Lambs")... Well, fascinating stuff, it's an experience to watch it. Beware, some sequences are really violent, and some ideas are really disturbing - like going inside the mind of a psychopath... Otherwise Josh Hartnett is really - really good in it: very nice actor performance. I was quite impress by it!

Ever been watching a really out there art house flick and said to yourself "Man, I wish there was some brutal violence and gratuitous nudity to liven things up"? Well, your prayers have been answered. That's about the only thing this film answers. Hartnett pulls his weight with a cast of famous in Asia costars. Would have benefited from a more personal level of film making, there is something to this serial killer/Private eye/Yakuza flick, just not enough to make it "the next big thing" in Indie film making.

A truly odd, weird film. I was hoping for a decent thriller, maybe a bit of action. Instead it's a low budget indie film that has many layers but none of them that interesting... I'm sure there is supposed to be some "message" as such in the film, but the poor story, editing and strangeness of it all will have you wishing the credits come sooner rather than later.
