There are some good moments in Shotgun Wedding. Lopez, Coolidge, and Lenny Kravitz are game and there is a Herculean effort from the trio to do something worthwhile with the script they are given.

The film does something that is really worthy of applause. It delivers exactly what was proposed. It was not necessary to develop characters, to delve into anything. The beginning may seem a little abrupt but we managed to capture the past of each one and the current moment. However, as a comedy the film is weak, it has its good moments but nothing out of the ordinary. As an action it is also quite simplistic. But the movie is just entertainment. Do you have better movies with Jennifer Lopez? Yes of course.

Hampered by some clumsy dialog and perhaps mediocre editing, I nevertheless giggled through this entire movie. There are a few really genius comedic moments. Casting is a bit surprising, but even though almost no one is perfect for the role they are in, it all works fabulously.
