LOVED this. Claire Danes is brilliant as a young girl who is discovering boys and her sexual power, but still manages to hold on to her childness. Gabriel Byrne plays her polish baker father, who has to deal with a canoodling daughter and cheating wife. Beautiful beautiful beautiful.

This movie had a lot of potential, but in the end was really really terrible.
