Sharpe's Company (1994)

Spain, 1812. The Duke of Wellington plans to lay siege to Badajoz. A murderous figure from Sharpe's past uses a beautiful woman to revenge himself on Sharpe, now the father of her child. I've been working my way through the TV adaptations of Cornwell's Sharpe novels, with Sharpe's Company being the third of those adaptations. This is the one that takes place during the siege of Badajoz, and introduces Sharpe's old nemesis Hakeswill (from his pre-peninsular days), as well as revealing he now has a child. Of necessity taking liberties with the plot of the book, this still manages to remain pretty faithful throughout.
