Seeing Other People (2004)

Ed and Alice are two months shy of getting married when she realizes that she wishes she'd had a more active love life while still single. Reluctantly, Ed agrees to have an open relationship in the months before their wedding, and initially this seems to improve their connection, particularly in the bedroom. I cheated during this movie - by thinking about other films I liked better.

Didn't really care about any of the characters but the movie's still an amusing watch. Predictable yet moderately entertaining. Kinda lost interest after the first half though.

i like the point that this movie makes about how this doesn't work, but it was all too frustrating to watch it happen.

What is astonishing is that husband-and-wife writers Wally Wolodarsky (who also directed) and Maya Forbes, with combined credits that include "The Simpsons" and "The Larry Sanders Show," could churn out something this nasty and ludicrous.

I just picked this off the rack and watched it. It did keep me entertained for 90 minutes, but it was quite predictable and had that feeling of "if the characters didn't insist on being dumb, none of this ever would have happened". It did make me laugh a couple times though.
